Founded in 2005, Jumpstart helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities.
KidSport supports children who need financial assistance with sport registration fees.
PUNJAB WARRIORS IS PROUD TO LAUNCH A NEW PROGRAM (SOCCER START) TO HELP UNDERPRIVILEGED KIDS PLAY ORGANIZED SOCCER. THIS PROGRAM WILL HELP PAY PORTION OF EMSA LEAGUE REGISTRATION FEE WITH OUR LEAGUE PROGRAM.
According to a new study, one in three Canadian children are not participating in organized sports because it’s too expensive. The study, commissioned by CIBC, identified that the two major barriers stopping children from participating in organized sports are enrolment fees and equipment costs.
Contributed funds are pooled and distributed to our program’s low-income players. The credit is applied toward their registration fee, no funds are directly handed to the individuals. A maximum of $350 credit can be given toward the registration fee, the credit amount is based on income verification.
Join us to help get more underprivileged youth players into organized soccer and help us make sure no kids are left on the sidelines wanting to play this beautiful game.
